1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SiftPulse (the "Service") operated by Polsia, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you are agreeing to these Terms for that organization and representing that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. The Service

SiftPulse is an AI-powered code review tool that integrates with GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket. The Service analyzes pull requests using AI models and posts structured review comments, issue triage, and merge-readiness indicators on your repositories.

We may update, modify, or discontinue any feature or component of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes via email or our changelog.

Service uptime: SiftPulse is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance where possible. Downtime during incidents will be reported in our status page.

3. Your Account

To use SiftPulse, you must install the SiftPulse GitHub App and authorize it to access your repositories. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to notify us immediately at hello@siftpulse.polsia.app if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these Terms. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscription & Billing

SiftPulse offers the following plans:

  • Free (GitHub Marketplace): Available to organizations with public repositories only. Unlimited PR reviews on public repos. No time limit. If private repositories are added, the account must upgrade to a paid plan.
  • Starter: $29/month. Up to 5 repositories. All features included. 14-day free trial.
  • Team: $79/month. Unlimited repositories. All features included, plus Slack notifications and priority support. 14-day free trial.

All paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew at the start of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal or by contacting us.

If you add private repositories to a Free plan account, you will be prompted to upgrade. SiftPulse reserves the right to suspend PR reviews on private repositories until a valid paid subscription is active.

Refunds: Monthly plans are non-refundable after the billing period begins. Annual plans may be refunded pro-rata for unused months. Contact hello@siftpulse.polsia.app for refund requests.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Upload or process malicious code, malware, or security exploits
  • Review repositories containing content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates third-party rights
  • Attempt to extract, repurpose, or store the AI model's outputs without authorization
  • Use the Service in a manner that imposes unreasonable load on our infrastructure
  • Resell or redistribute SiftPulse's output or the Service itself without a written agreement
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service's output without authorization

Violations of this section may result in immediate termination of your account without refund.

6. AI Code Review & Accuracy

SiftPulse uses AI models to analyze pull request code. The AI-generated reviews are advisory in nature — they do not replace human code review or judgment.

We make no representation that every bug, vulnerability, or code quality issue will be detected. You acknowledge that:

  • AI reviews are not a substitute for human review by your engineering team
  • AI-generated comments may occasionally contain inaccuracies or miss issues
  • The Service is not a security audit tool and should not be relied upon as the sole mechanism for identifying security vulnerabilities
  • You are responsible for reviewing AI recommendations before acting on them

AI model provider: SiftPulse routes AI requests through Polsia's managed AI infrastructure. We do not guarantee the use of any specific model. We will notify customers in advance of significant model changes that may affect review output quality.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain all intellectual property rights in your code. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to process your code for the purpose of providing the AI review service.

SiftPulse's name, logo, and the review comment content generated by the Service are our property. You may not copy or reproduce our review output for use outside the intended Service.

We do not claim any ownership of the code or content in your repositories.

8. Privacy & Data

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using SiftPulse, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

We process pull request code — which may include your proprietary source code — through AI models as described in the Privacy Policy. You acknowledge this processing when you install the SiftPulse App and configure it to review your repositories.

9. Third-Party Services

SiftPulse depends on third-party services for payment processing (Stripe), database hosting (Neon), application hosting (Render), and email delivery (Postmark). We are not responsible for the availability, privacy practices, or content of these third-party services.

Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket, as applicable, depending on which platforms you connect.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We do not warrant that the AI reviews will be accurate, complete, or free of false positives or false negatives.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, POLSIA, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
  • Any content obtained from the Service
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Polsia, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. If your subscription is canceled, we will continue to store your data for 30 days, after which it will be deleted unless you request otherwise.

You may terminate your account at any time by uninstalling the SiftPulse GitHub App from your GitHub account and contacting us to request account deletion.

14. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes at least 14 days before the new Terms take effect by emailing you at the address associated with your account and by posting a notice on our website.

Your continued use of the Service after the new Terms take effect constitutes your agreement to the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service before the effective date.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delaware, USA for the resolution of any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
