SiftPulse / local reviewer

Review code without sending source to SiftPulse.

The downloadable Node 20 package runs the review against a model on your own machine. Activate once with your existing API key, then work offline for the license lifetime.

v1.0.0 SiftPulse local review app v1.0.0 2026-10-13 · siftpulse-review-1.0.0.tgz

Node 20 local review with localhost model execution, optional GitHub sync, and a clear privacy boundary.

See this release in the changelog →

1. Activate once

Create or reuse an API key from API Keys. The activation response stores only a signed license and local model settings.

siftpulse-review activate --server https://siftpulse.polsia.app --api-key <key>

2. Configure your model

Run Ollama or another OpenAI-compatible server bound to localhost. The default is http://127.0.0.1:11434/v1 with model llama3.1.

export SIFTPULSE_LOCAL_MODEL_URL=http://127.0.0.1:11434/v1 export SIFTPULSE_LOCAL_MODEL=llama3.1

3. Review a checkout

The app reads only the requested Git diff and a local .siftpulse.yml. No repository snapshot or findings database is created.

Privacy boundary

The local runner never calls the hosted review endpoint. Without --sync-github, results stay in your terminal or output file. Optional GitHub sync publishes the rendered findings to the selected PR; it does not upload source to SiftPulse.

Cached repository browsing and cached findings are not included in this release.
