Review time saved: 12 minutes per PR (conservative) — based on typical time spent context-switching to review, waiting for first comment, and back-and-forth clarification cycles. Teams with complex codebases report 20–40 minutes; we use 12 to stay conservative.


Lead time reduction: 25–40% range applied to current lead time. The 25% figure reflects the impact of instant first-review (no human waiting lag) on a team where code review is one bottleneck among several. The 40% figure reflects teams where review turnaround is the primary bottleneck. Source: DORA State of DevOps 2023 + SiftPulse's own anonymized aggregate data from the benchmark strip above.


Annual savings: (Hours saved per week × 52) × loaded hourly rate, minus the annual SiftPulse subscription cost ($29/mo Starter or $79/mo Team). We subtract $79/mo × 12 as the cost ceiling.


What this doesn't capture: Developer happiness, fewer context-switch interruptions, faster onboarding for new engineers, and reduced defect escape rate (fewer bugs caught late in review). Those are real but harder to quantify, so they're not in the model.
